Holiday Shipping Information

Holiday Shipping Expectations and Delays

Shipping is a huge blessing, but it can be a tad confusing! There are a lot of variables to consider when trying to figure out when your package will arrive. If you are wondering what to look at going forward, consider these tip and remember to plan ahead this holiday season.

  1. The first and most helpful thing you can do is add info@liberatedspecialtyfoods.com to your email contacts so that the notifications do not go to your junk/spam folder.
  2. Continually track your package through the provided tracking number.
  3. Be aware of our processing and shipping calendar (see below)
  4. Be aware of the shipping carriers holiday calendar (see below)

USPS and UPS Holiday Calendars

On these days, USPS & UPS will not be available for the pickup, drop off or delivery services.

  • Easter - April 12, 2020
  • Mothers Day - May 10, 2020
  • Memorial Day - May 25, 2020
  • Independence Day - July 4, 2020
  • Labor Day - September 7, 2020
  • Thanksgiving Day - November 26, 2020
  • Christmas Eve - December 24, 2020
  • Christmas Day - December 25, 2020
  • New Years Eve - December 31, 2019
  • New Years Day - January 1, 2021

*Liberated Specialty Foods is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once they have left our facility

It is our policy to not refund a package that has been lost, stolen, or delayed after it has left our facility because it is no longer in our power to protect or control. The package is then the customers responsibility to keep track of, and in the event that something has happened to it in transit, they must contact the shipping carrier. At this point in the process, we do not have ownership or control over the package.
 
**Beware of an increase in porch pirates during the holiday season!
 

Thanksgiving Shipping Information and Deadlines

We will not be shipping any perishable orders received after 10am CST Tuesday, Nov 17th. If items to needed for Thanksgiving, orders will need to be placed no later than 10am CST, Nov. 17, 2020. 

We will resume shipping on Nov. 30, 2020.

Christmas Shipping Information and Deadline:

December 15, 2020 will be the last day to ship standard orders received no later than 10am CST to arrive in time by Christmas Eve.
December 21, 2020 will be the LAST DAY to ship UPS Next Day & 2-Day Air orders received no later than 10am CST to arrive in time by Christmas Eve. An upgraded label must be purchased at check out to guarantee delivery.  

We will be closed the week of Christmas and will therefore not be processing or shipping any perishable packages for 3 day transit orders placed after 10am CST Monday Dec. 21 - Monday Jan 4, 2021. For 2 day transit orders, we will not be processing or shipping any perishable packages after 10 am CST Monday Dec. 21 - Dec. 28.

We will resume regular shipping for all orders Monday Jan 4, 2021. 

New Years Shipping Information and Deadlines

We will not be processing or shipping any perishable packages from Thursday Dec. 31, 2020 -  Friday Jan. 1, 2021.

Shipping will resume on Jan. 4, 202. (UPS does not move/deliver any packages on Sunday which would add an extra day to the transit time, so we hold all UPS orders that would go out Thursday-Saturday. We aim to limit transit time as much as possible so that customers have more time to enjoy their food!)

I have followed all of these rules and even contacted ups myself but have lost 2packages. Do you have any other ideas. Thank you
